Afrikan Union

The Afrikan Union hopes to engage readers for spirited exchange as we hope to give an education on the history of the Afrikan people westernized in the US and the West Indian islands. Please feel free to add to our blog. What is the true history of my people and my children? What is my real name ? As we know the trans Atlantic slave trade led to the displacement of the  many Afrikan people. Unable to answer these questions beyond the name given by the slave masters, I decided to start a research project and launch my clothing line Afrikan Union. Take this tour into discovering the origins of Afrikan slaves transported to Barbados. Please note research ongoing.

Africa

What is Africa ?

Although the true history of Afrika seems to be lost and misrepresented, we can look to history, peer reviewed papers and artistic details of those before us to understand what is Africa and who are these brown people is atopic that needs international attention.

According to Brittanica, Afrika is the the second largest continent. Asia is the largest. Africa covering about one-fifth of the total land surface of Earth. The continent is bounded on the west by the Atlantic Ocean, on the north by the Mediterranean Sea, on the east by the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean, and on the south by the mingling waters of the Atlantic and Indian oceans.

The Motherland

The pillaging of Afrika for her gold, diamonds and her artisans during the Transatlantic slave trade will be one of the world's greatest sins. A sin  that still impacts black and brown people worldwide .  With movements like #blacllivesmatter being relevant over 100 years later, we understand the impact of the transatlantic trade mainly on those hurt by it and those who profited still have an air of entitlement based on lies. People will be forever be displaced and carry a name and a history that is not their own. They have forgotten who we were and our greatness as they try to stamp us out of history.  Still Afrika stands tall like a Queen in all her splendor. Her landscape cannot be matched to most in the world. She is the Motherland to the River Nile, world's largest river but she is also Mother to the Sahara, world's largest desert. Check out our page Au. Afrikan Union for amazing facts about the Mother Land, The birthplace of MODERN DAY MANKIND

Daily Black

In the US, today,  just as we saw over three decades ago, The people of South Africa, demanding reform, now do  in 2022, black Americans fighting for that change, that update. We have to work together to bring light in these dark places and educate ourselves and our children about the truth and the reality. Too long has a band-aid held the stench of this festering sore that is the existence of the black man in America. Let's leave a legacy for generations to come. Why do we still fight for equality. Its as if the lie perpetuated has taken over the truth as we stumble through someone elses reality.  Like a nightmare in a Wonderland we fall through these experiences hoping to come out the wiser and better off.  Our forefathers were merchants, artisans, musicians, historians, agricultural workers, teachers, blacksmith, cow herders. Amazing people stolen and put on the auction block and sold by the hundreds to fuel the gains of the Transatlantic slave trade. We were made to ensure the success of crops, take care of children that we did not bear while being called stupid, ignorant and worst considered a lesser class. Striped of humanity to fuel an eco-system The Americas. The New World and all the colnies the great European powers were using to further their economic agenda. Why would you allow a wild animal into your home. Why would you trust an uneducated fool to tend your crops? Because the lie allowed the derailment of our own Black Wall Street. Life is about power and this  perpetual misinformation would give power over us to those few who capitalized on our misfortune.
